Originally conceived by Luke Frazier with artists in Cleveland, OH, the ARTIST IN PLACE series examines the craftsmanship and mindsets of various local artists. Produced and directed by Frazier, shot and edited by Orlando Sifuentes, and sound and additional video by myself, these two segments follow fabric artist Geri Forkner and photographer Sam Stapleton and the connections between their craft and the natural world.
My responsibilities on this project included:
Researching the artists’ previous work
Developing questions and themes to focus on during interview segments
Recording audio and mic-ing interviewees
Operating cameras for multi-cam interview shooting
Capturing additional B-roll
